Our Story

God gave us a command to carry out the work of ministry to those in need. For the Gospel of Jesus Christ to make an impact on people, it must sometimes be accomplished by ministry. When the shelter started out, it was a ministry of Grace Community Church. In 1993, the Sanctuary was incorporated as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization run by a board from several local churches.

Our Mission

To help our guests become self-sufficient, help our guests get their lives in balance, and most importantly to help our guests to have a relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus!
